"María, San José" is the result of two years of hard work by Niño Árbol.

This new album presents two parts...

'María' drive us to cold, synthetic and acid places. We could say that this is the urban side of this 8-track LP, with fast bmp's, breakbeats, techno, paranoid atmospheres with persecutory delusions and a lot of acid.

On the other hand, 'San José' have a more organic sound, minimalistic vibes with an IDM touch, without loosing the beat for the dancefloor.

Why San José? 'San José del Pacífico' is placed on the Southern Sierra of Oaxaca, a magic place famous for its mysticism and the nature that surrounds it; Also, this town is the most emblematic place in the world for psychedelic mushrooms. Kevin Martinez aka Niño Árbol was in a personal journey searching for a sound that he has in mind for a long time, and because of that, Kevin went to live alone for a month on a wood cabin with no internet. It was a needed space/time conection to achieve the sound for the tracks 5 to 8.

This musical journey became a spiritual journey; At the end, this LP propose a psychedelic/experimental dance for everyone.
